Notice Regarding the International Environment and Arctic Seminar

HIT’s State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resources and the Environment will hold the International Environment and Arctic Seminar Series from January 8th to 12th, 2018 in Harbin. The Seminar Series will present the latest achievements dealing with persistent toxic substances and biological accumulation and Arctic environment research.  There will be discussions regarding the prospects for future innovation in the field.  All scholars are invited to attend.

Three conferences to be included are:

January 8th to 10th, 2018: The International Seminar on persistent toxic substances with biological accumulation

January 11th, 2018: Inauguration ceremonies for the of International Joint Research Center for Arctic Environment and Ecosystem and Arctic Environment Seminar

January 12th, 2018:  BRICS Forum on Ecological Environment Research  

Deadline for Submission:  The deadline for submission is December 25th, 2017

Language Requirement: The official language of the Seminar Series will be English

Registration Fees:  General registration is $200 or 1200 yuan.   There is a discounted registration fee for students of $100 or 600 yuan.  On-site registration will be available for this conference.

Conference Location:  HIT’s State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resources and the Environment

Visit Activities:

In addition to the scientific reports and expert-level discussions, all participants can visit HIT’s State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resources and the Environment, as well as historical sites and tourist attractions in Harbin.  Participation in any excursions is optional.  Each person will be responsible for any excursion costs.
